WHO IS BARBARA COX? i HAVE A COMPLETE VINTAGE SET OF Patty Bergs. need info really badly. Is she a retired pro
This set of clubs is in the original bag with wood covers. They are vintage and all Patty Berg clubs. Each club has a sticker with the name Barbara Cox on them plus Country Club Membership stickers from all over the world including St. Andrews in Scotland. It all has the original towel from,
Scotland. I would really like to know who Barbara Cox is and if she just liked to golf or she was pro. I was also wondering if this set is valuable in any way.The woods also have their orignal covers. It is in excellent shape. Would love some feedback. Thanks , Deige
Barbara Cox is the person who used to own them. Patty Berg won the woman’s US Open and I know they the have an award named after her for the LPGA tour. The stickers with Barbra Cox’s name is an item sold for people to put on golf clubs so if they lose it, they can find the person. The set is made by Wilson. I very popular mid line club in it’s day. They are worth about $8.00 to $10.00 per club
